How to help > Accountability
We pay a lot of attention and spend a lot of time on fundraising and the implementation of our projects. To this end, we have worked together with AGDI, a local Association, for many years. AGDI formulates projects on the basis of needs and asks for our support. If we approve a project, we raise money. AGDI implements the projects and reports about them. We guide and monitor the projects.
Flor Ayuda has the ANBI status. IE: we are an approved Charitable institution.

Every year our books are audited. This is done for us free of charge.
A copy of the audit report is submitted to the tax office.
If requested, significant donors may obtain a copy of the audit report.

We are also registered with the Chamber of Commerce. Our registration (in Dutch!) can be found
Board and Fundraising Committee contribute
The Board members and the members of the Fundraising committee do more than volunteer their time free of charge.
They also contribute significantly to our organization ...
Of the donations that Flor Ayuda receives only about 2% is marked to cover expenses. This percentage is so low because the Board and volunteers do not ask for re-imbursement of their expenses. Your contribution will go almost entirely to the projects in Guatemala.
Flor Ayuda cooperates with several organizations: Wilde Ganzen, ChildRight, NCDO, Cordaid, ICCO and Impulsis. These organisations monitor our work carefully and frequently, also on location in Guatemala.
